The last two years in pandemic mode have certainly left their mark, but have also brought us closer together as a company. We started 2021 with mixed feelings, although we always keep our optimism first. No one could predict how the pandemic would continue. SONOTEC has learned from the experience in 2020 and has continued to develop in a focused manner this year.

The preliminary figures show that the fiscal year 2021 will probably be the best in our history! This is mainly thanks to our employees, who have coped with the respective situations in a flexible and committed manner. As we also constantly act with foresight, we are pleased that our decisions have contributed to the success of SONOTEC.

Even facing material and personnel shortages, we were able to build on our solid technology expertise and the motivation and creativity of our employees. Thanks to our modular principle in ultrasound sensor production, we are able to respond flexibly to material bottlenecks and mostly serve our customers on schedule. We expect the situation to deteriorate further in the coming months and not ease until the course of 2022.

Despite the currently spreading pandemic and the tense supply situation, we are optimistic for the next year. We have proven that we can successfully master challenging situations and we are building on this experience! Looking at the semiconductor market, we are pleased that we are receiving such positive feedback from customers about our ultrasonic non-contact flow and bubble sensors.

This encourages the whole team that we can continue our growth in this market! We are looking forward to meeting customers onsite and being present at upcoming industry events to learn more about the applications and to develop new ultrasound sensor technology that meets current and future industry demands.
