Staying close to our customers has been our priority this year. As we look to 2024, they will invest in new advanced packaging applications and seek cost-optimized equipment solutions that deliver high quality and throughput to service consumer demand efficiently.

The bottom line is that our customers' new products are costly and in high demand, so there is no room for yield and throughput issues. We look for every opportunity to help innovate and optimize their manufacturing operations so they can win.

When speaking with our customers, I was pleased to learn that steps we took in the wake of COVID-19 supply chain issues have put us on the right path to ensuring on-time delivery, shorter lead times, and quality. Our customers’ technologies are evolving quickly and with high demand globally so having application expertise and support in local regions is critical to their success.

Nordson sees continued investment in automotive electronics to support electric and autonomous vehicle advancements, where quality and throughput remain essential factors. Similarly, semiconductor industry growth, tempered in 2023 after two strong years, remains an exciting space as our customers focus on next-generation products and advanced packaging techniques to support artificial intelligence, cloud-based services, and 5G.

We will remain highly engaged, introducing solutions that continue to help customers innovate while meeting their goals for quality, throughput, and cost of ownership.

We're living in exciting times. Our global team of experts is ready to run the race in 2024 and clear the application barriers for the world’s electronics innovators as they trailblaze into the future of advanced electronics.
