While acknowledging some recessionary pressures in the near term, we at YES are optimistic about 2023, and are positioning ourselves for the growth that is expected to emanate from the on-shoring of semiconductor manufacturing in US and Europe, and continued investments in IC substrate technology advancements as well as compound semiconductors. As a global company, we understand the need for local manufacturing to address supply chain challenges.

We see a significant wave of opportunities driven by the electrification megatrend, especially in the US. Regionally, we are seeing some fallout from government restrictions on trade with China. However, we also see the post-regulation landscape and the inaccessibility of the China market giving rise to a positive trend in the growth of other geographic markets.

Designing and building systems affordably will continue to be a challenge for YES and other US-based manufacturers in the coming year. The availability of talent remains a major concern in the US, especially on the West Coast, and is arguably our biggest issue in competing on a worldwide scale. To address it, we are exploring innovative manufacturing models and partnerships in order to compete successfully across the globe.
