VIEWPOINT 2023: Justin Hall, Vice President, Nordson Electronics Solutions
Global concerns create unpredictability — the trade war with China directly affects our advanced packaging customers, while geo-political problems in Ukraine and Taiwan add uneasiness to the market. At Nordson we have spent the last 2 years making our manufacturing operations as efficient as possible to support customers who face similar unpredictable circumstances. We are also focused to introduce new products that meet the demanding needs of our customers in semiconductor packaging globally. New developments with ASYMTEK dispensing platforms enable wafer-level and large substrate operations. New jetting systems along with the progressive cavity pump Vortik continue to push the boundaries of precision dispensing. MARCH plasma surface treatment systems maintain their leadership position, thanks to their higher etch rates and throughput.
