In addition to thirteen conference sessions, sponsored workshops were free for conference attendees and included "DDR3 Interface Design Workshop" sponsored by Cadence, "Design for Reliability (DfR)" sponsored by Ops A La Carte, and "Simulation Driven Product Design: Leveraging 3D Multiphysics Analysis" sponsored by Ansys. "Advanced Packaging" professional development course was taught by Dr Ravi Mahajan of Intel Corp. The expo was open to attendees on Tuesday and Wednesday. Coalition for Advancement of MicroElectronic Systems Technology (CAMEST), IPC-A-630 Requirements for Structural Enclosure Task Group and Wire Harness Acceptability Task Group also met at the inaugural event.
