Clancy joins FTDI from Jennic Ltd, Sheffield, UK, where he was the VP of worldwide sales. He has over 20 years semiconductor industry experience in senior sales and management roles. Prior to Jennic, Mike worked for Wolfson Microelectronics and, as a key member of the management team, oversaw the transition of the company through to a public offering in 2003.

Fred Dart, CEO and founder of FTDI commented, "We've not only experienced a strong and continued demand for our USB devices, but we've also grown in many aspects of the business. The company has heavily invested in a research and software development division in Singapore.
