Black Belt Certification indicates understanding and experience in applying Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems in a variety of business situations. A certified Black Belt demonstrates team leadership in all aspects of the DMAIC model (define, measure, analyze, improve, control), understands lean enterprise concepts, and uses tools to identify non-value-added activities.
