CUPERTINO, Calif. – Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), a premier semiconductor test company, today announced that Spreadtrum Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPRD; “Spreadtrum”), one of China’s leading wireless baseband chipset providers, selected the V93000 system for production testing of its CMMB (China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting)* mobile digital television decoder/demodulator semiconductors.
