VIEWPOINT 2018: Rich Richardson, President, MicroCircuit Laboratories
MCL provides complete development services, including both new product development and problem resolution, in addition to pilot production services. Hermetic sealing processes included Parallel Seam Sealing for both Weld and AuSn Cover Seal in precision inert environments. On-site test equipment includes automatic gross and fine leak testing per MIL-STD-883 Test Method 1014 Class K Devices; Hitachi SEM; GT Real-Time X-ray for Test Method 2012 compliance; Olympus Opto-Digital Microscope and Mitutoyo CNC measurement. 2018 will see increased development in surface mount hermetic packages with photonics, high end sensors and aerospace having highest activity.
