VIEWPOINT 2018: Greg DeLarge, President, Plasma Etch, Inc.
We introduced our patented gasless etching technology in our Mark II line of plasma systems in 2016 and Mark II sales in 2017 increased exponentially. This gasless technology allows our customers to etch and desmear without CF4 gas. The long term cost and environmental benefits of this technology have proven to be beneficial in a variety of etching applications. The Mark II product line will continue to drive large system sales in 2018. 2017 was also a tremendously successful year for trade shows. We will once again be demonstrating a PE-50 and a Plasma Wand at MD&M West and IPC Apex in February. Over the summer, look for our vacuum and atmospheric plasma demonstrations at MD&M East in June, and Semicon West in July.
