AMETEK is looking forward to 2017 as a year of growth for the semiconductor industry. We'll continue to develop high power solutions for semiconductor process and test applications, while offering higher power densities and the best customer service for engineers in both the fab and development lab.

We see a continued need for tools that pack high power levels in smaller packages. Products that increase power density will be key, without sacrificing modularity and scalability.

Semi engineers will rely upon AMETEK power sources such as the Sorensen ASD FLX that provides flexible voltage levels in a front-panel serviceable water-cooled system.

In addition to scaling up wafer sizes and component densities, the pressure remains on semiconductor manufacturers to find ways to increase yields. This in turn is driving demand for larger and more productive process and test equipment, such as scalable programmable DC power sources and AC power supplies.
