January 2016 brought the opening of Photo Stencil's new factory in Golden, Colorado. Equipped with cleanrooms, R&D labs, new plating lines, and precision fabrication equipment (including laser direct imaging), the upgraded capabilities of this new manufacturing facility allow us to offer advanced stencil solutions for printing the most demanding PCB designs and semiconductor packages.

To complement our market-leading solutions capabilities, Photo Stencil has bolstered our Advanced Stencil Solutions Team of experts by hiring several accomplished professionals including: Dr. Phani Vallabhajosyula, an advanced packaging expert (Intel) and Karl Pfluke, an industry veteran (Indium) heading up sales in North America.

We anticipate the continued bifurcation of the stencil market in 2016 with the low end dominated by commodity, laser-cut stencils, and high end stencils consisting of smaller area ratios, more precise position accuracy and increasingly complex stencil designs.

Finally, in 2016 we'll introduce a new, proprietary stencil material with enhanced tensile strength.
