Despite all the global challenges 2012 presented, the Semiconductor Business Unit had a successful year. Looking forward to 2013, many of the same challenges and uncertainties persist, but our investments in personnel and new product development, along with a refreshed focus on key market segments, offer reasons for optimism.

In 2013, we expect continuing innovation in consumer electronics, which will spur the need for companies to get more data to their customers faster, thereby driving modernization of infrastructure.

All of this new equipment brings with it state-of-the-art integrated circuits or chipsets that are highly sensitive to overvoltage transients, making circuit protection an even more essential part of circuit design.

As we wrap up 2012, our products are well positioned for growth because we've taken steps to optimize their performance while decreasing their size to minimize device form factors. We anticipate demand for our TVS Diode and TVS Diode Array circuit protection products will expand in these market segments.

Ultimately, we will continue to leverage our applications expertise and semiconductor knowledge to bring new, differentiated products to market to meet the evolving needs of our customers and the global marketplace.
